I qualified as a teacher in 1994 and have worked with ages 3-11 in schools. In 2015, after twenty one years as a classroom teacher, I made the decision to leave the classroom, home educate my children and tutor privately. Initially, I worked face to face but in 2020 I made the decision to work online. I now offer my tuition and assessment services face to face or remotely and work with students from various parts of the UK and abroad.

I am friendly, approachable and sensitive. I adapt my teaching to the needs of individuals and aim to support not just the individual but the whole family.

I have extensive experience within the field of education and am an experienced teacher, tutor and assessor. I have worked with young people who are autistic, have dyslexia or dyscalculia or are highly anxious. I also have experience of working with learners with Tourette Syndrome and school based anxiety.

I believe that all children should be supported to learn and aim to make students feel safe and valued.

I am DBS checked and have the following qualifications and experience:

Teaching BA QTS 21 years in school settings.

Dyslexia assessment and tuition AMBDA Level 7 Assessment Practising Certificate.

Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health Level 2.

IPSEA level 1 SEND law.
